Our People

We’re here to provide a warm, friendly and safe environment for your family and your child. Focussing on holistic growth, our educators are trained to provide learning activities that are flexible and child centred. They undertake regular ongoing training to ensure they are up-to-date and review and adapt our programs when the demands of developing children require it. Our educators really want to engage with children and that means drawing out their individual qualities, understanding their learning styles and being aware of each child’s unique abilities.

What makes you passionate about working in childcare? I love watching children as they develop and grow. They are always so expressive when excited and interested in something so it is always wonderful to watch as they discover new things to explore and learn about. I am passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment, as I believe when children feel safe and secure, they are more confident to explore and grow.

What is the funniest or most memorable moment you can share from working in childcare? Children have no filter and often come up with the funniest things. When I was pregnant, a child asked my why my belly was so big. When told there was a baby inside, they then proceeded to ask why I ate a baby. Nearly 10 years later and I still have a little giggle to myself when I think of that conversation.

Why do you believe your centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking the best childcare? Our centre has a very strong focus on relationships. Staff relationships, relationships with children and relationships with families. We believe that strong relationships are a cornerstone of our practice and make the centre a fun, engaging and welcoming place to be. We acknowledge and respect the fact that families are the most important people in a child’s life, and so we feel it is important to maintain those strong connections.
